Starting in Lockdown. Tony was asked out to value a lovely 4-bedroom bungalow, with a large garden, based in Green Lane, Ford just to the north of Salisbury. Because of the owner's personal circumstances and despite being in lockdown (the owner was an NHS nurse moving to Ireland), he was pleased to do so.
Whites were instructed and launched the bungalow onto the market on the 22nd of June. The important aspect was for the buyer to fit in with the vendors moving plans which just happened to be February 2021. After a terrific level of interest with numerous viewings, just eight days later, the perfect buyer was found and in the first week of July, an offer accepted.
Although very stressful for both parties because of the unknown elements of the pandemic, Whites kept the whole transaction on track with regular communication and updates.
In early February completion took place, again despite being in lockdown, to the delight of both the buyer and the seller, thus Ending in Lockdown.
All elements of this transaction happened in Lockdown – showing that “anything and everything” is possible if you have the right attitude and perhaps also the “right agent” on board!
